Nov. 29, 2018 - Toronto Star - Manufacturers have avoided reporting troubling incidents and patients have not been told about health risks, according to a Toronto Star/CBC/Radio-Canada investigation, in partnership with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

Feb 20, 2020 - PHOENIX — Women who want to get breast implants would be required to get more information about the side effects under the terms of legislation approved Wednesday by a Senate committee.
The unanimous vote for SB 1439 followed testimony by several women who told the Health and Human Services Committee about the health effects, often lasting years, after they had implants. The women all said that they never were informed of what could go wrong. READ MORE
December 3, 2019 - "Canadian Plastic Surgeons Are Pro-Active" A letter was sent to all members of the Society of Canadian Plastic Surgeons & members of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, by their respective Presidents, outlining the currently available data on the issue of BIA-ALCL, and recommendations for diagnosis & treatment.

"Recalled" ... On July 24, 2019, the FDA requested that Allergen recall these products because of the increased risk of a cancer called breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).
When your car has the possibility of a faulty part, you get a letter from the manufacturer telling you to go straight to your dealer and get it replaced. When lettuce on a farm in California is found with e-coli, all the lettuce gets pulled off the shelf in grocery stores across Canada. But what happens when Breast Implants get recalled?
